Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Strength & Performance and General Strength classes?
Performance is dynamic and holistic. The overall goal is for participants to move athletically, become powerful and resilient, and have the conditioning to match. After the warmup sessions move into agility, jump variations or sprinting, power and strength development, conditioning and mobility.
A slower pace than our Performance classes, participants build a foundation with proper technique through traditional strength training methods. It's excellent for beginners as well as experienced lifters.
For either class, scaling exercises up or down because of injury, skill or physical limitations is not an issue. Our classes can complement each other as Coach Crickett and Coach Eric program together.
I am not a martial artist, can I still come to classes?
Yes! General Strength and our Performance are not just for athletes, it's for life. Whether it's playing with your kids, doing yard work, helping a friend move, or even having a more active vacation; our coaches would love for anyone that trains to be ready, so that they don't have to question their fitness. Coach Crickett and Coach Eric are always ready to meet you where you're at in your fitness journey and help you improve from there.
How can Athletic Performance help me with my sport?
We want every athlete that works with us to have proper training, understand and practice proper nutrition and to develop a tenacious mindset to perform well and accomplish their athletic goals. We offer a well rounded facility and coaches that program structured sessions to enhance overall athleticism with practical speed and agility training. Each athlete will enhance strength, power and conditioning relevant to their needs. And build a mobile and robust frame for injury risk mitigation; because none of the training matters if you can perform on game day. We can work with any athlete whether it's off-season, pre-season or in-season.
Do you offer personal training?
